Rows of lace stitch patterns keep the Nicola tee by Ursula McGrath cool & airy while adding tons of visual interest. Knit in crisp, yet soft, Juniper Moon Summer Solstice (sport weight), the tee has nice structure with just the right amount of drape.
When designing the top, Ursula combined a solid light sage shade of Summer Solstice with color changing Summer Solstice Paints to create this color morphing knit. Some well placed row color changes really bring the “wow” factor.
The tee is constructed by knitting the back & front separately, then seaming at the shoulder & sides. Simple lace patterns are created with approachable knits, purls, slipped stitches & knit 2 togethers. It is a fun piece for beginners, as well as more seasoned knitters. The yarn also goes quite far, as the project only requires 3-5 balls (depending on size knit).

- Color B: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1) balls Juniper Moon Summer Solstice, photo in 05 Baby’s Breath
- Size US 3 & 5, 24” circular needles (knit flat, seamed)
