Traveling to us from lovely Denmark, Knitting for Olive yarns are ethically created with high quality, natural fibers. Founded by a mother & daughter, the family business is passionate about responsible yarns that inspire & bring joy to knitters.
The Cumulus Tee by PetiteKnit is the perfect pattern to introduce one of our favorite summer yarns from the brand. Knitting for Olive Pure Silk is spun with 100% bourette silk. This fingering weight yarn is perfect for warm weather tops, tanks, cardigans, wraps & scarves. Bourette is crafted from waste created during silk processing, so it is kind to the planet. The pleasing matte, relaxed finish is lovely for sophisticated, yet casual knits.
All of the silk in this yarn is made from open cocoons where the silkworms have transformed into moths & fluttered away.
