Urth Yarns Uneek Mini Me Sock Kit

Urth Yarns is committed to producing high quality yarns hand dyed in the full array of beautiful colors inspired by the world around us.  Crafted by a talented team of women in studios located in Mersin & Istanbul, the Turkey-based brand supports fair wages, pleasing work conditions & the local working population. In addition, the company partners with Trees for the Future in which a tree is planted for each sale of a skein of Urth Yarns.

Just as cute as the full-size version, the Uneek Mini Me Sock Kit features 2 adorable balls of Urth Yarn Uneek Sock yarn to knit an adorable pair of matching, self-striping children’s socks.

Uneek Sock is a gorgeous, jewel-tone, self-striping yarn inspired by the textiles of ancient Mesopotamia.  Spun with 75% superwash Extrafine Merino wool & 25% nylon, the yarn is soft, yet very durable.

This unique kit includes 2, pre-wound balls that will knit into a pair of matching, striped socks.  The kit includes a scannable QR code for the free Mini Mahalle Toe-Up Sock pattern (in product photo).  The pattern requires a size US 0 & 1 double point needles or preferred method of small circumference knitting.

Artisan hand-dyed yarns have natural color variations from skein to skein. Our team will do their best to choose the best matching skeins for your order. Here are some tips to get the best results when knitting with hand-dyed yarns:

  • Purchase enough yarn for your entire project
  • Alternate skeins by knitting two rows from one skein, then two rows from another skein. This will help to blend color differences.
