Nature Inspired Colorwork
Lumme by Sari Nordlund
Cascade 220, colors 9465 Vashon Island Heather, 8010 Natural

The next pattern on our project list is the Lumme pullover by Sari Nordlund. If you are a lover of stranded colorwork then this is the next addition to your sweater collection.

Named after the Finnish word for a water lily, Lumme was inspired by the beautiful contrast of the dark waters of Finnish forest ponds & floating white water lilies. These beautiful nature-inspired colors come to life in this top-down, in the round pullover.

Sari chose Cascade 220 for this high contrast piece. Spun with 100% non-superwash wool, the worsted weight yarn works wonderfully for stranded colorwork. The heathered deep brown plays beautifully with the light natural to really show off the design.
