Starting on Thursday, February 22, we will be starting the very cool River cape & cowl by Yumiko Alexander.
Perfect for spring & summer, this designer knit may be worn as a cape or a cowl. Knit in DK weight yarn, the piece features a signature cable dropped stitch lace pattern. If you know how to cable, then you are good to go! The pattern is rated advanced beginner to intermediate, but includes an option to just do the lace pattern without the cables.
The cape looks best knit in lightweight yarns that have a nice drape. Some great options include Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend, WYS Elements, The Fibre Company Luma & Rowan Creative Linen.

Sizes: XS/S (M/L, XL/XXL)
- 681 yards DK weight yarn
- Size US 7, 24” circular needle
- Similar size cable needle
