Join us for fun, relaxed evenings of community & knitting every Thursday at our weekly Knit Alongs. Bring the project you are working on or find inspiration each week with our feature pattern.

Starting on Thursday, February 1, we will be starting the Infrared Scarf by Chloe Thurlow!

Feather light & airy, this all season scarf may be worn in a variety of ways. The scarf is knit holding 2 strands of your favorite silk mohair together. The subtle sheen of silk & beautiful halo of the yarn make this project a gorgeous addition to every wardrobe.

The photo sample was knit in 2 colors Rowan Kidsilk Haze, but any lace weight will do nicely. Some other great options include La Bien Aimee Silk Mohair, Hedgehog Fibres Kidsilk Lace, Lang Yarns Alpaca Superlight (mohair-free) or Lang Yarns Mohair 21.

Materials:

  • 2 balls each of two colors Rowan Kidsilk Haze or 460 yards each of two colors in your favorite lace weight equivalent
  • Size US 6, 32”-40” circular needle (knit flat)
