Garter Tab Cast-on

Some of our favorite shawl patterns begin with a Garter Tab Cast-on. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn what types of projects it is best suited for, as well as how to do the cast-on.
Participation Materials: To participate in the workshop, please bring leftover worsted or heavier yarn & a corresponding needle size.
German Short Rows

You will soon love short rows! German Short Rows are often used to give garments a perfect fit. In this hands-on workshop you will learn what German Short Rows are, when they are used & how to knit them. There will be a live demonstration, then you will have the chance to practice on your own swatch.
Participation Materials: To participate in the workshop, please bring a worsted weight (or heavier) swatch with a cast-on of 30 stitches. Knit a few inches of garter stitch so that you have a substantial swatch.
Fixing Mistakes Series: Picking Up Dropped Stitches Demonstration

If you knit, it is inevitable that at some point you will experience a dropped stitch. Learn how to identify & fix dropped stitches in this empowering demonstration! We will showcase some useful tools for picking up dropped stitches, as well as demonstrate how to pick up a variety of dropped stitches.
Stitch Spotlight: Moss vs. Seed Stitch Demonstration

We love the gorgeous texture & look of these stitch patterns. The names are often used interchangeably, but they are actually two different stitch patterns! In this fun stitch spotlight, we will explain the difference between the two and provide some tips on how to read your knitting to successfully stay in pattern.
