Hello, my name is Kristina, and last year I organized a philanthropy project that incorporated knitting, the philanthropy was called Project Heartstrings. I am hoping that with your help I can successfully continue again this year.
The goal of this project is to send hand knit scarves to girls aging 10-18 that will be spending their holiday in a Treatment Facility for Eating Disorders. These girls will be hundreds of miles away from home and their family and friends. I would love to send each of the girls in treatment during the holidays a handmade scarf to show each one of them how truly important they are!
I was a patient at this treatment center 2 years ago over the holidays, and mail-time is the best part of every day. If you would like to help make a warm, cozy scarf to send I would greatly appreciate it. The scarves can be dropped off at the Wool and Company store anytime from now until December 18th. Thank you for all your help!

Kristina – I don’t know how to knit, but I would be willing to purchase the supplies you need from Wool and Company if you would knit one for the girls. Please let me know if I can support you this way!
Can I mail a scarf to the store? I live in Ohio but would like to help with this cause
Yes – please feel free to mail a scarf to us – Wool and Company Attn: Kristina, 23 S 3rd Street, Geneva, IL 60134. Thanks for thinking of it. Neil
