We have many different ways to give you some knitting help.
Scheduled Classes
We offer a selection of scheduled classes for beginner through advanced knitter. This is a great way to learn or improve your skills. Ask one of our staff for details of currently available classes.
Get You Over A Hump
Customers are welcome to visit the store for knitting help at any time and one of our staff will be happy to spend a few minutes to help you interpret a pattern, pick up a dropped stitch, help rip something, explain a technique. If we are very busy they may have to wait a few moments for one of us. There is no charge for this service.
The Knitting Doctor
If the customer needs a little more focused attention we suggest a visit between 12 and 1:30pm each weekday when an experienced knitter and staff member will be available for consultation. There is a $10 fee for each visit and the customer can stay for knitting help as long as they wish. The knitting doctor’s time may be shared with other patients and with regular store duties.
Private Knitting Lessons for Individuals and Groups
If we think that you need even more specialized attention then we will suggest a private lesson with one of our experienced teachers. Private lessons need to be scheduled in advance. Rates start at $30 for one person for 30 minutes of private tuition. We are happy to put together private sessions for individuals or groups, please complete the form or call the store and ask for details.
